The police said that Mentula Narendranath, 40, a radiologist, and his family members - Lalitha, 35, wife, Venkatesh, 7, son, and Chinni, 2, daughter - were on their way to Bhongir from Hyderabad along with his sister's daughter Mounika, 14, and son Venkataramana, 10. Inquiry into teachers' transfer ends
Regional Joint Director of School Education, Hyderabad, Ch. Pullaiah, probed the charge against DEO P. Ananda Murthy and other staff that modification was made in the transfer of over 59 teachers after completion of counselling exercise. He concluded that some 15 of them were irregular.
