Police Commissioner says thefts in city have decreased

BANGALORE: Police Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh on Tuesday clarified that there has been a decrease in the `other thefts' reported in the city this year.

Dr. Singh said the city police had registered 1,863 cases of `other thefts' in 2004.

Till November end of this year, the police had registered 1,613 cases, he said in response to a report published in these columns.
