Former IAF man's house burgled

BANGALORE:
The house of a former Indian Air Force personnel on Hesarghatta Main Road was burgled and cash and jewellery in all totalling to Rs. 65,000 were taken away on Monday.
According to police, Ajay Kumar, who was working in a private company, locked his house and went for work in the morning.
When he returned in the evening, he found that somebody had sneaked into his house by using a duplicate key.
He found Rs. 23,000 in cash and gold and silver ornaments missing from his house.
Mr. Kumar has filed a complaint with Vidyaranyapura police on Tuesday.
Killed
A motorcyclist was killed when a goods lorry hit his vehicle on Mosque Road on Monday.
The police gave the name of the deceased as Kalandhar (24) of Lingarajapurm.
He died when he was being taken to hospital, the police said.
