The expulsion from Parliament of the 11 MPs who allegedly accepted money for raising specific questions in Parliament does not absolve society of the responsibility of preventing corruption. Corruption in high places takes place because the needy citizens from all walks of life encourage it. They offer bribes to those in authority to fulfil their various requirements. Blaming the MPs alone is not correct as long as we have citizens ready to achieve their aims by hook or by crook.
