Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu and dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose appreciably at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Kerala, rose at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Belgaum Airport and Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 10 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry and mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Frost warning: Ground frost may occur at a few places over the hill ranges of Nilgiris district during next two nights.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
