Memorable feat
HYDERABAD:
Squadron Leader Jayasimha, a former Indian Air Force officer, has memorised and recalled 200 random objects, breaking the present Guinness record of 100 objects.
Jed Harris of the United States memorised and recalled 100 items shown to him in the same order and set a record. Mr. Jayasimha established a new record by memorising and recalling 200 objects in the same order on Wednesday, said Magic Fun Skool Managing Director Chokkapu Venkata Ramana.
Mr. Jayasimha was given a standing ovation by the large audience, which witnessed the feat.
"I am excited and proud," he said adding that his aim was to prove that Indians had the sharpest memory. He also wanted to inspire students, job aspirants and the general public to improve their memory.
Judges, public servants, politicians and journalists were among those who were present. UNI
