KOLLAM: Rescuers on Thursday found the bodies of two of the five fishermen missing since last week after their boat was hit by a ship off the Kollam coast. The highly decomposed bodies, found floating nine nautical miles off the Neendakara fishing port near here, were those of Jayan (27) and Sunil (31), part of a six-member group who ventured into the sea from Sakthikulangara near here, Fisheries Department sources said. One fisherman of the team was rescued and brought ashore by crew members of another boat which came across the wreckage of the ship-hit boat on Sunday last. The hapless fishermen belonged to Alapad, a coastal hamelt ravaged by the tsunami last year. PTI
