GULBARGA: Six persons, including four children, were crushed to death and 20 others were injured when the van by which they were travelling rammed a truck from behind near Rastapur Cross on Gulbarga-Bangalore State Highway in Shahapur taluk of Gulbarga district on Thursday morning. The condition of the injured, who have been shifted to the Government General Hospital, was said to be serious. The reports said all the dead were sitting in the driver's cabin and were crushed to death. The police had to cut open the driver's cabin to remove the bodies. The driver of the vehicle escaped with injuries. The victims had boarded the van at Anur in Lingasugur taluk in Raichur district and Karnalli in Surpur taluk and most of the victims were going to Ibrahimpur Darga to pray.
