MUMBAI: Financial services advisory India Infoline has acquired 100 per cent stake in Marchmont Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed amount. The board of directors of the company has approved the acquisition of 100 per cent equity of Marchmont Capital Advisors and a strategic alliance with Marchmont International Finance Ltd for exclusive services and non-compete in India, India Infoline said in a release here on Thursday. Marchmont is headed by Ajit Menon and Graham Sharp and post-alliance, Ajit Menon will be heading the investment banking division in India and Graham Sharp international operations and focussing on cross border opportunities out of London, it said. India Infoline plans to leverage on its research capabilities, corporate relationship, and distribution network and Marchmont's network with small and medium-sized corporates and capabilities to execute cross border deals, it said. — PTI
