Guide to this season's dance performances

CHENNAI: Kutcheri Buzz has come out with a guide on dance, to commemorate the December music festival, which takes place every year in the city.

The music festival is hugely patronised by the residents of the city and people from different countries too visit the city to attend the concerts.

The 70-page handbook has schedules of dance recitals scheduled this December and January 2006.

It lists the top dancers, with a small write-up on each of them. A photograph of the dancers is also given beside the write-up so that readers can identify them from the pictures.

Beside each dancer's profile is listed their schedule for the season.

The book should prove useful for students and fans of Bharathanatyam.
