Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam stood at 134.10 feet with an inflow of 331 cusecs and a discharge of 600 cusecs.

The level in the Vaigai dam was 69.42 feet with an inflow of 490 cusecs and a discharge of 841 cusecs.

The combined Periyar credit stood at 8676 mcft.

Train to be regulated

The Tirunelveli-Erode passenger will be regulated for 75 minutes at Dindigul on December 30 and 31 due to bridge maintenance work between Eriodu and Dindigul, according to a Southern Railway press release.

Free medical camp

The National Service Scheme of The American College and Christian Mission Hospital organised a free medical camp at Vembarali, Natham taluk, as part of a 10-day special camp on Tuesday.

According to a press release, A. Charles of Government Rajajai Hospital, inaugurated the camp.

Free medicines were distributed to villagers. More than 300 villagers benefited from the camp. — Staff Reporter
