Weaving handloom magic
For the eco-conscious who want to look trendy, hand-woven fabrics now come in a wide variety of colours and textures. The 100 per cent cotton/silk label is most appropriate to these textiles.
Harshakala, the National Handloom Expo now on at Palace Grounds (Mekhri Circle entrance), will be on till January 15.
It covers an area of 60,000 sq.ft., including a `Theme Pavilion on Weaves and Motifs.'
There products from places as far as Kashmir and Rajasthan and some unusual fabrics have been specially brought for the occasion.
