KVB to offer additional interest on term deposits

CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank will offer an additional 0.50 percentage point interest over and above the regular rates of 6.50 per cent on deposits for one year to three years for individuals and non-profit organisations. It has announced a special one-month campaign, beginning January 1 to canvass term deposits from the personal segment. During the campaign period single high value deposits of Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh will receive an additional rate of 0.25 percentage point in the time bucket of 91 days to one year, the bank said in a release.
