CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday cautioned the people against those political parties which made false promises to grab power. Addressing a public meeting at Assandh, Mr.Hooda said that the people had understood the gimmicks of such political parties and their leaders had no future. Efforts would be made to provide employment to all and government jobs would be given on the basis of merit. He also announced several developmental programmes for the area including the setting up of Government College, ITI or Polytechnic provided suitable land was made available for the same. The Girls High School would be upgraded up to 10+2 provided it fulfilled the norms. A mini-secretariat would be set up to bring all government offices under one roof. Efforts would be made to set up a sugar mill. The availability of power would be improved. Others who also spoke included the working president of the Haryana unit of the Congress, Ram Prakash, the Education Minister, Phool Chand Mullana, and the Karnal MP, Arvind Sharma.
