Frank Moraes lecture on January 7

CHENNAI
: The acting Chairmanof the University Grants Commission, V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai, will deliver the 31st Frank Moraes Memorial Lecture `Science-technology interface: Challenges for knowledge utilisation and creation' here on January 7.
On the occasion of the lecture, to be held under the auspices of the United Writers Association and Frank Moraes Foundation, the Golden Peacock Award, instituted by the Community Welfare Foundation, India, will be presented to K.Thiagarajan, association founder in recognition of his community service for over three-and-a-half decades, according to a association press release.
