Millionaire 'weds' dolphin

Jerusalem: A 41-year-old British millionaire has tied the knot with her 35-year-old sweetheart, a dolphin from the Eilat dolphin reef .

Sharon Tendler, a British rock concert producer, met Cindy 15 years ago. They were meeting up two to three times a year. Last week she approached the dolphin's trainer, Maya Zilber, with the extraordinary request. The trainer accepted and "talked the idea over with the fellow," who apparently consented.

The bride, in a white dress, walked down the dock before hundreds of astounded visitors and kneeled down before her groom, who was waiting in the water. She hugged Cindy, who was escorted by his fellow best-men dolphins. She whispered sweet nothings in his ear, and kissed him in front of the cheering crowd. Ms. Tendler was then tossed into the water by her friends so that she could swim with her husband.— PTI
