Anantapur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigating the Paritala Ravindra murder case has suffered a set back as the sessions court reportedly returned the chargesheet filed initially in the lower court, stating that it is incomplete. The CBI had filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court here on December 28, including three more persons as accused. The AJFCM's court was stated to have received on Wednesday the chargesheet returned by the higher court. The supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI included P. Goverdhan Reddy, his associate, B. Ramaswamy, and U. Anand Kumar Reddy alias Rice Mama as the accused in the case. With this the number of accused persons in the case has gone up to 16. Though the charges framed against them were not known yet, the CBI had already claimed that it had secured some evidence of their involvement in the case.
