A reception only for the privileged

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Sporting a dark blue suit and a sky blue shirt, newlywed Bollywood star Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao walked around the Bangalore Club tennis court on Monday. There were no celebrities either.

Hosted by Mr. Khan's Bangalore-based in-laws, the reception had less than a hundred invitees. Presspersons and cameramen had no chance to get inside the venue.

Accompanied only by their close relatives, Mr. Khan and his wife arrived at the Club.

Soon the couple started posing for photographs with friends and relatives.

However, photographers waiting outside for a glimpse of the proceedings inside had to scout around for a tall building near the club.

Eventually, they found an 11-storeyed building opposite the club, climbed atop and zoomed in on the function. The star apparently could not prevent that.
