BHEL bags Rs. 800 cr. order from Nalco
NEW DELHI:
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has bagged an order from National Aluminium Company (Nalco) to set up the tenth successive unit of the 960 MW (8x120 MW) captive power plant at Angul in Orissa valued at Rs. 800 crore. This is the largest value single order obtained by the company for a captive power plant. According to a company statement, the order was won by BHEL under stiff international competitive bidding (ICB), as its offer was found techno-economically the best.
