Visaka starts trial production in Rai Barielly

HYDERABAD: Visaka Industries has announced the trial production at its Rai Barielly unit and has also decided the date of commencement of commercial production. It already has building material units in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Karnataka with a total annual capacity for manufacturing 3.50 lakh tonnes of fibre cement. After having established its brand in South, East and West, Visaka's unit at Rai Barielly near Bachraon is one of the most modern plants for manufacturing fibre cement sheets with a capacity of 1.20 lakh tonnes per annum, says release.
