Culture Shock impresses

Mumbai: Culture Shock and Aspinalls impressed when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Jan. 2).

Outer sand:

600m: Culture Shock (R. Pandey) 35.5. Excellent.

800m: Star Strike (M. Narredu) 49, 600/38. Slightly urged.

1,000m: Supreme Act (Colm O'Donoghue), Pretty Ballerina (R. Pandey) 1-5, 600/40. Former trounced the latter. Crespo (P. S. Deora), Bergerac (M. Narredu) 1-6.5, 600/40.5. Former started and finished two lengths ahead. Grantown (Kharadi), Helmsdale (Colm O'Donoghue) 1-6.5, 600/40.5. They moved level freely. Pampered Princess (Belose), Firey Future (P. S. Deora) 1-3, 600/38. Former superior. Money Stream (Zameer), Saroshafar (rb) 1-9, 600/42. They were level.

1,200m: Touch A Star (Neeraj) 1-24, 600/41. Handy. Appreciate (McCullagh) 1-24.5, 600/43. Moved freely.

1,400m: Amazing Power (McCullagh) 1-40.5, 600/42.5. Easy. Fedora (M. Narredu), Lebombo (Abhishek) 1-32, 1,000/1-3.5, 600/37. Former finished a distance ahead. Aspinalls (C. Rajendra) 1-30, 1,200/1-17.5, 600/41. Moved attractively.

1,600m: Flareon (Jethu) 1-55.5, 1,200/1-25, 600/42.5. Moved freely.

Inner sand:

600m: Psychic Strength (Colm O'Donoghue) (1200-600) 40. Easy.

1,800m: Spectacular Queen (Ruzaan), Some Time (Abhishek) 2-9.5, 1,600/1-54, 1,000/1- 12.5, 600/45. Former started three lengths behind and finished four lengths ahead.

Gate practice — outer sand:

1,000m: Gaea (Jethu) 1-6, 600/41.5. Pleased. Lahinch (Kharadi), Secret Charm (Colm O'Donoghue) 1-2, 600/37.5. Former strode out well and ended two lengths in front. The Spider Man (Baria), Definite Spice (R. Pandey) and Airliner (C. Stefan) 1-2.5, 600/39. Former was pushed and finished five lengths ahead. Fiddler's Ferry (Rupesh), The Nonesuch (rb) 1-5, 600/40. Former better. Simply Spectacular (P. S. Chouhan), Storm Regent (M. R. Singh ) 1-4.5, 600/39. They jumped out well and finished level. Sol Invictus (S. Fargeat), Cry Of Truth (Kharadi) 1-6, 600/40. Former ended five lengths in front.
