Shopping complex pulled down

KADAPA: Armed with a favourable court ruling, Kadapa Municipal Corporation officials demolished a shopping complex near Machupalle bus stand here, despite tension cropping up with LIDCAP Director and Municipal Corporator B. Ayyanna and his followers resisting their bid for about four hours. Chief Planning Officer Venkatapathi Reddy, municipal staff and police personnel faced stiff resistance from Mr. Ayyanna and others when they tried to pull down the shopping complex .
