Ornamental lights planned

Tirupur: The Tirupur Municipality has allotted Rs. 4.30 lakhs to erect ornamental lights on railway bridge, Noyyal bridge and Jammanai bridge.

A resolution in this regard was passed at a meeting of the Municipal Council recently. Since people from various walks of life are visiting the town it is pertinent to beautify the town, the resolution says.Three high mast lights, each costing Rs. 6 lakhs, will be erected at the Pushpa Theatre Junction, the Mangalam Road-Nataraja

Theatre junction and opposite to Fire Station.
