Three banks launch `no-frills' account

CHENNAI: Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB), Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) and Syndicate Bank have announced the launch of `no frills' savings bank account scheme. The scheme will enable individuals to open a savings bank account with an initial deposit of as low as Rs. 5.
