Parmod's licence withdrawn
MYSORE: The Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club while considering the appeal filed by jockey R. Parmod against the decision of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club, in suspending his licence from Jan.1 till the conclusion of the Mysore Winter season, for not permitting his mount Gypsie's Wish to run on its merit in the Shillong Plate (1,200m), run on Dec. 14, 2005, interviewed him and trainer Sharat Kumar, and rejected Parmod's appeal.
They also took into consideration the minutes of the meeting of the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club and decided to withdraw the Jockey's Licence from Jan. 10 to Oct. 31.
