VIJAYAWADA: No matter whether it is chilling winter or blazing summer, cottons are the most comfortable wear. No need of sacrificing your passion for fashion to wear crispy cottons, as they have the twin advantage of providing comfort and a cool look.

Soft cottons embedded with hand and machine embroideries, sparkling stones, mirrors and kalamkari designs must have their space in some corner of your wardrobe.

Cotton is one wear that suits any occasion. You can pick up a crispy cotton saree, salwaar kameez or skirt from the lot in your wardrobe and become a cynosure of the gathering.

Wide range

Wanna add some new designs to your wardrobe? It is time to grab the cottons designed specially by the Hyderabad-based Designer Prints boutique. A wide range of cottons in exquisite designs and colour combinations is on display at Madhu Kalyanamandapam in Mogalrajapuram, where a 12-day exhibition-cum-sale was inaugurated by Regional Employment Officer V. Himabindu on Tuesday.

Designed by Sandeepani Atluri, a diploma holder in fashion designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), the elegant dress material and sarees are eye-catching.

"We have designed salwaar kameezes, skirts and tops by using specially woven clothes. Besides colour combinations, equal priority has been given to design works like sequins, zardozi, aplic and hand embroidery," said M. Sasikanth, manager of the Designer Prints.

The expo offers different ranges from Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 for dress material while sarees are available for anything between Rs. 300 and Rs. 800. One could visit the exhibition between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. till January 15.
