Special Correspondent

Doctors from various hospitals will conduct medical camps for the benefit of the workers and their family

CHENNAI: "Avoid over-speeding and over-loading." This is the slogan of this year's `Road Safety Week,' which began on Monday.

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation has come up with several programmes to effectively convey the message.

Doctors from various hospitals will conduct medical camps for the benefit of the workers and their family in the bus depots, said Mr. Chandrasekharan, General Manager (Administration).

During the shift changeover time, yoga and meditation would be taught to the workers. Special training would be given to drivers, conductors and other workers at Annanagar for three days from January 6.
