Hazare ends fast

MUMBAI: Social activist Anna Hazare on Tuesday called off his indefinite fast, following an assurance from Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh that action would be taken against ex-ministers.

Mr. Hazare, who had undertaken the fast on December 24, called it off by accepting limejuice from a woman activist. — PTI.
