Employability training camp inaugurated

CHENNAI: An `employability training camp' organised by Rajalakshmi Engineering College was inaugurated on Sunday.

The camp will include yoga sessions, special coaching for aptitude tests, interview techniques and skills to handle group discussions.

A.K. Pattabiraman, principal consultant, Academic Interface Division of Tata Consultancy Services, lauded the college for organising such camps.

He urged the students to develop the right attitude, imbibe corporate etiquette and develop social intelligence and moral values.

H.R. Mohan, Associate Vice-President, The Hindu , stressed the importance of acquiring proficiency in all spheres of learning.

Technology should be used to improve knowledge and one shouldn't succumb to distraction, he said.

S. Ramanathan, President, PARAM consulting, spoke. K. Sarukesi, principal of the college, welcomed the gathering, and professor V.N. Srinivasan proposed the vote of thanks.
