BU announces list of toppers, gold medal winners

BANGALORE: As the Bangalore University prepares for its 41st annual convocation on Friday, it has released the list of gold medallists and prize-winners, who will occupy the centre stage on that day.

Among the important winners this year are M.A. (Kannada) topper Uma B.M. with six gold medals and a prize; B.A. topper, Puja Jain from Mount Carmel College with four gold medals and four prizes; M.Sc. (Physics) top rank holder Kenath Arun with six gold medals; M.Sc. (Chemistry) topper Shilpa Ganapathi Anvekar with four gold medals and three prizes; M.Sc. (Geology) topper, Jagadish G.V. with five gold medals and two prizes; B.Sc. rank holder, Preeta Das Gupta, a student of St. Joseph's College with three gold medal and three prizes; B.Com topper, Shelma J. D'Cunha, also a student of St.Joseph's College with five gold medals and two prizes; B.Ed topper, Sinduja T.S. from M.E.S. Teachers' College with three gold medals and three prizes; B.E. Civil topper from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Purandara with five gold medals and two prizes.
