IFC invests $600,000 in Turbo Tech

BANGALORE: The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank, has made an equity investment of $600,000 in the Bangalore-based turbine maker TurboTech Precision Engineering Private Limited. The investment will help TurboTech expand its manufacturing capabilities and further develop its product. Krishna Kumar, Managing Director, TurboTech, said the company was close to receiving another $300,000 from an NRI.
