MCI team to visit Bidar in March to inspect works

BIDAR: A team from the Medical Council of India will arrive here in March to review works on the proposed medical college in Bidar.

According to Deputy Commissioner Manish Moudgil, the team will inspect ongoing works, including levelling of land, road works and construction of buildings.

The team will also see whether the required land has been made available for the college, he added.

Mr. Moudgil said works are in full swing on the college.

However, some encroachments on Government land set aside for the medical college by some "influential people" is hampering the work, Mr. Moudgil said. — PTI
