KARIMNAGAR: The Chalimeda Ananda Rao (CAR) Institute of Medical Sciences at Bommakal on the outskirts of Karimnagar town has launched free bus service for patients coming from the town to Chalimeda General Hospital. Mayor D. Shankar formally inaugurated the service from Kothirampur Gandhi crossroads area on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the gesture of Chalimeda Medical College for providing better and free medical care to poor patients. Medical college chairman Chalimeda Laxmi Narasimha Rao said that they were planning to introduce more bus services from various parts of the town to the hospital. He said that they would introduce free meals to patients coming to the hospital.
