Indian killed in Colombo

COLOMBO: An Indian national, A. Prasad (alias Durga Prasad) was murdered in a Colombo suburb on Wednesday night. Mr. Prasad (30) hails from Hyderabad and was working for a private telecommunications firm in Sri Lanka. He was shot dead with a 9mm pistol as he was leaving a restaurant in Dehiwala, after dinner. The motive and the identity of the killers are not known. A special team has been formed to investigate the killing, the Inspector-General of Police told The Hindu .
