CHENNAI: Leander Paes is a communicator par excellence. Throw a question at him, and he comes up answers not always acceptable, but genuine, most of the time. At a press conference here on Thursday to promote Babolat racquets, the Indian tennis ace kept the media engaged for almost an hour. When asked about use of technology to eliminate wrong calls, Leander said, "I'm still contemplating on it, still debating it in my mind. It seems to be a good idea. But at the same time, it might take some time for the decision to come out and the contest might be disrupted. So, I am not sure about it," said Leander. He spoke about his choice of racquets, his passion for the same and the things he look out for while buying a racquet. "Choosing a tennis racquet is an intricate business. There is so much that goes into a racquet." Altaf M. Vahanvaty, managing director, Sportiff (India) Pvt. Ltd., was also present on the occasion.
