Mumbai: Hugo Boss, Desert Lightning and Touch A Star worked well when the horses were exercised here on Thursday morning (Jan. 5).

Outer sand:

600m: No Time (S. Fargeat) 38.5. Moved freely. Mercedes (R. Pandey), Princess Charming (Kharadi) 38. Former ended three lengths in front.

800m: Gorgeous Blue (Bernard), Ronaldinho (Bhadke) 51.5, 600/38.5. Former finished well clear. Alixiana (Prashant), Security (Reddy) 52.5, 600/40.5. They were urged and ended level. Private Eye (Rupesh), A bay gelding (Diffident - Ally McBeal) (M. Narredu) 51, 600/38. They moved well. Bergerac (M. Narredu) 51.5, 600/36.5. Good.

1,000m: Oyster Cove (N. Jodha), Convenience (Shelar) 1-5, 600/38. Former strode out well and finished three lengths ahead. Almandine (Mansoor), Ancient Princess (Manohar) 1-10, 800/53, 600/40. Pair level. Classic (C. Rajendra), Beyond Belief (Hamir) 1-5.5, 600/39.5. Former superior. Major Wager (McCullagh), Absolute Dominance (N. Jodha) 1-5, 600/39. Former who finished four lengths ahead impressed.

Former who is a good type of a youngster finished two lengths ahead. Star Hopeful (Colm O'Donoghue), Star Of Windsor (M. R. Singh) 1-17, 600/39.5. They were pushed and former finished six lengths ahead.

1,600m: Hugo Boss (Hamir), Desert Lightning (N. Jodha) 1-46, 1,200/1-15.5, 800/50.5, 600/39. Latter made up five lengths and finished one length behind. A noteworthy pair.

1,800m: Holding Court (McCullagh) 2-5.5, 800/50.5, 600/38. In good shape.
