Bangalore: It is important for every player to support his State in domestic cricket, said Virender Sehwag on the sidelines of a function to inaugurate his personal website, powered by MSN, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Thursday. Sehwag's website can be accessed at www.msn.co.in/sehwag. The Indian team vice-captain said the website would help him interact with his fans and junior cricketers. "It is the first time that a cricketer in India is launching a personal website. Through the website I can stay in touch with my fans and I can also interact with a junior cricketer may be in Orissa or in Jammu and Kashmir who has got some cricketing doubts," he said. After launching the website, Sehwag answered a few queries though he refused to comment on the Pakistan tour, citing a BCCI directive that insisted players should refrain from making statements on the tour. On playing for Delhi in the current season, Sehwag said: "It was not about just getting back my form. I think it is very important for every player to support his State. I played for Delhi because my team has not done well so far this season. Karnataka also got a boost with the presence of (Anil) Kumble." Sehwag, who scored a 56 in the ongoing Ranji game against Karnataka, mentioned the challenge of facing Kumble. "He is a great bowler and you have to be careful against him. He is not an easy bowler to play. I am happy that I scored a 50 against Kumble and Sunil Joshi," Sehwag said.
