KARIMNAGAR: "There is no permanent agreement with the Congress on the continuation of alliance in the State or at the Centre," according to CPI State secretary K. Narayana. Talking to newsmen here on Thursday, he said that there was no question of forging an alliance with the TDP. To a query about the TDP's plans to forge an alliance with Left parties, he said: "We cannot jump and a take a decision independently." On 5 per cent quota for Muslim minorities, he said that they have been deprived on all fronts, and stressed on the need to continue reservations.
He said the decision to close the RTC depots would be detrimental to the interest of employees, the corporation and the general public.
