Coimbatore: The Branch Recruiting Office, Coimbatore will conduct a recruitment rally for men for the post of Havildar Education in Group X for Army Education Corps to impart education to the troops. The candidates should have working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both and should have passed B.A./M.A./B.Sc/M.Sc with B.Ed from a recognised university. Candidates without B.Ed are not eligible. Candidates should have been born between September 26, 1981 and September 26, 1986, be at least 162 cm tall, weigh 50 kg with chest measurement of 77 cm (five cm in expansion). They should take a physical test i.e. a one-mile run in 6.20 minutes, a minimum of six pull ups on a beam, balance, besides being able to jump across a 9-ft trench.
Essential documents
Candidates should submit application forms along with documents such as SSLC, HSCC, B.A., B.Sc, B.Ed mark sheets, transfer certificate, community and nativity certificates and sports/NCC certificates, if any. The envelope should contain two self-addressed envelopes to the Branch Recruiting Office (BRO), Coimbatore and be superscribed, `Application for Havildar Education'. For application forms and details, contact the BRO, Coimbatore at Red Fields or call at (0422) 2222022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The last date for submission of application is March 20.
