School alumni meet

on January 8

A grand alumni get-together of St. Patrick's High School is being held on the evening of January 8 on the school premises.

The St. Patrick's Alumni Network, which is organising the meet, has asked all old students to participate in big numbers. Students from the 1955 batch onwards will be attending the get-together along with former principals -- Fr. Philip, Fr. Sandanasamy, Fr. Karanaidass, Fr. Gnanadevan -- and others.

Tenth Sikh guru's

jayanthi celebration

The 338th jayanthi of tenth and last Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh will be held at Central Gurudwara Saheb, Gowliguda, on Friday.

Prabhandak committee president S. Tirlok Singh and general secretary S. Satbeer Singh Sandhu have said `Vishaal Deewan' (mass congregation) will be held on Gurudwara premises from 10.30 a.m. and it will be marked by recitations of `Gurubani Keertans' by religious preachers from across the country.

Nizam jewellery

The Nizam jewellery exhibition at Salar Jung museum will be kept open to the public on Fridays and on all holidays.

Current booking counter will be kept open from 8.45 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. for all slots of the exhibition that is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

Matrimonial

Brahman International Society will conduct a matrimonial convention at Sri Gajanan function hall, East Anandbagh, Malkajgiri, on January 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Pensioners' meet

The Andhra Pradesh Pensioners' Samaj will be holding its annual meet at Vets Gardens, Shantinagar, on January 7 at 10.30 a.m. Retired High Court judge Sardar Ali Khan will be the chief guest. A health camp is also being arranged on the occasion.
