877 complaints settled at revenue adalats

KOCHI: A total number of 877 complaints were settled at the revenue adalats held at 12 villages in six taluks in the district on Thursday. There were 1,054 complaints at the adalats.

At Thrikkakara North Village Office, where 96 complaints were received, and at Kadungalloor Village Office, where 58 complaints were received, all the complaints were settled. Out of the 5,969 complaints received in the district so far, 1,979 complaints were settled.

The highest number of 140 complaints was received at Mulavoor in Muvattupuzha Taluk. Out of this, 83 were settled. At Vazhakkala Village Office in Kanayannur Taluk, 120 out of the 132 complaints were settled.

The total number of complaints received and the number of complaints settled at the other villages are given below: Kunnathunadu Taluk: Kodanadu Village - 31 out of 47, Koovappady - 73 out of 86; Aluva Taluk: Chengamanandu Village - 76 out of 100, Nedumbassery Village - 78 out o 96; Kochi Taluk: Edavanakkad Village - 71 out of 86, Nayarambalam - 90 out of 97; Paravur Taluk: Varappuzha Village - 44 out of 54 and Eloor - 57 out of 62.
