Ten Gulf-bound women from city held at Mumbai airport

HYDERABAD: Ten women passengers who boarded a Kuwait-bound flight here at Begumpet airport two days ago, were caught at the Mumbai airport the same day on the charge of possessing forged travel documents, it is learnt.

Police sources said the women had forged emigration cheque not required (ECNR) stamps on their documents. The police have reportedly called for an inquiry as to how immigration officials cleared the forged documents of these women in Hyderabad.
