Property worth Rs. 4 lakhs stolen
Thieves took away gold ornaments weighing 40 tolas, 2,900 Australian dollars and Rs. 20,000 from a house at SBI Colony in Kavadiguda on Thursday night, as the house owner was away in Pune attending his son's marriage.
A retired bank employee Shubh Kumar, along with his elder son Vijay's family left for Pune four days ago to attend his younger son Raja's marriage being held on Thursday. The thieves broke open the lock of the main door and collected the gold and cash from the almirah.
Police grilling Barudwala
Hyderabad police are grilling Mohd. Barudwala of Bidar, who allegedly helped Shahed, the alleged mastermind behind the Task Force office, explosion operating from Bangladesh, in procuring explosive materials to prepare bombs. A special party of the city police picked up Barudwala from his house in Bidar and brought him to city for questioning.
