KOCHI: Ajay Unni, with a five-wicket haul, sparkled as Century CC entered the final of the fifth N.S. Krishnan memorial EDCA under-17 cricket league at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Saturday. Despite its match against Tripunithura CC ending in a tie, Century advanced to the title clash, having lost fewer wickets. In Sunday's final, Century will meet Globstar Telecom, which defeated Classic CC in the other semifinal. The scores: Tripunithura CC 161 for nine in 30 overs (Manu Krishnan 46, Vinu Kumar 36, Ajay Unni five for 44) tied with Century CC 161 for six in 30 overs (Jineesh 49, Navi 39, Vinu Kumar three for 45). (Century advances). Globstar Telecom, Aluva 211 for seven in 30 overs (Rajilal 61, Mohammed Shabeer 43) bt Classic Academy 72 in 21 overs (Ronson 32, Sujith four for 22, Alan George three for 28).

AG's Office defeated Trivandrum CC by 64 runs in the Canara Bank-TDCA `C' division cricket league at the Agriculture College ground in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. The scores: AG's Office 237in 38.1 overs (Rajiv George 93, Sanjeev 37, Anil Kumar 29, Raghuram five for 71, Mohammed Aneesh three for 45) bt Trivandrum CC 173 in 41.1 overs (Vinod Sankar 61, A.R. Rahul 26, Rajesh four for 61, Anil Kumar three for 34).
