Technical exhibition begins today

KOZHIKODE: `Spectrum,' a three-day all Kerala science, technology and education exhibition, will be organised by Model Polytechnic College, Vadakara, at the college on Monday.

C.K. Nanu, MLA, will inaugurate the exhibition at 10 a.m. on Monday. T.P. Chandran, chairman, Vadakara municipality, will preside over. Institutions such as BSNL, All India Radio (AIR), Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad, ANERT, Amateur Radio, Kozhikode Medical College and KSEB are participating in the show. A series of seminars and quiz competitions will be also be organised.

A photo exhibition by Nandakumar Moodadi will be one of the highlights of the exhibition. Projects that won prizes at the State Mathematics and Science Fairs will be exhibited. Cultural programmes by students of the polytechnic and alumni are other highlights. The valedictory function will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
