Dhyana Buddha to be consecrated

AMARAVATHI (GUNTUR DT.): The Dalai Lama will consecrate the half-finished Dhyana Buddha at Dharanikota, the main preaching site of Kalachakra 2006 on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. The construction of the Rs. 45-lakh Dhyana Buddha project began three years ago, but only the face of the 125-feet Buddha could be finished. The finishing touches would be taken up after Kalachakra programme.
