ANANTAPUR: The hostel warden of a private college was handed over to the police after students exposed his illicit relationship with a class X girl student. The girl was sent to her parents. However, no complaint was lodged with the police on the incident. Founder of the educational institution in Sharada Nagar here, U. Rajeswara Rao, told mediapersons that he himself handed over the hostel warden, Ravichandra, to the police. The warden is a relative of the college founder. Students explained that after all the girls in the hostel left for homes for Sankranti holidays, this girl was brought back to the hostel by the warden at night. Suspecting something fishy some students knocked at the door of the warden's office-cum-residence in the night. When there was no reply they broke open the doors and finding the duo inside informed the Mr. Rao. The district unit of All India Students' Federation staged a protest in front of the SP's camp office here and demanded action against the school/college management and cancellation of its recognition.
