Softview Visual Communication is now offering one-year diploma course in visual communication. The course includes training in art and painting, photography, script writing, videography, audio editing, video special effects and editing, animation, cartoon development, script writing, advertising and documentary and commercial movie production. Students will have to complete four projects in photography, documentary filmmaking, graphics making and audio-video effects. The course will run for six hours daily from Monday to Friday. The fee is Rs. 68,000 which includes production costs, says Anto Peter of Softview. The news media boom, especially in the Tamil language, will present several opportunities for visual communication students. The course that commences on January 18. Admissions close on January 12. Placement
The first batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management - Masters in Information Technology students (PGDSM) from SP Jain's Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) consisting of 29 students, have all been offered jobs by nine leading IT companies that include Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infosys and HCL Technologies.
