HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K. Kesava Rao has sought to put an end to the ongoing war of words between the CPI(M) State secretary B.V. Raghavulu and the Congress leadership saying the two parties can sit together and sort out any contentious issues. "Mr. Raghavulu has the right to criticise if anything goes wrong. But, I feel he is being fed wrong information and is unnecessarily rushing to conclusions," Mr. Rao said. He clarified that the Congress had not lodged any complaint to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the CPI(M). In an informal chat with reporters on Sunday, Mr. Rao said the Congress would welcome criticism from Opposition parties, but their views should be backed by responsibility. "Mr. Raghavulu doesn't really get into such a trap like the TDP does. I am only requesting him to realise what he is talking," he said. The media was also playing its role in the controversy by twisting the comments. On whether the demand for a separate Telangana would come up at the upcoming AICC plenary, he said he was not sure whether the issue was included in the agenda by the drafting committee. "I don't think it is coming up," he said. A delegation of the AICC comprising Ambika Soni, Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vora and others would visit the city on January 13 to review the arrangements for the plenary, he added.
