PATHANAMTHITTA: Revolutionary Youth Front State secretary Saleem P. Chacko has demanded immediate withdrawal of the Government decision to cut ration subsidy. In a statement here on Sunday, Mr. Saleem alleged that the food security of the country was in peril, and the move to cut the subsidy was part of a hidden agenda to do away with procurement of cereals, such as rice and wheat. He demanded that the Government take urgent steps to include all eligible persons in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) list.
